Though 2016 has been a year of turmoil, I've managed to shoot more film than ever before, both in personal and client based work. I recently found a few rolls of film on my desk, and sent them off to the lab - mostly unsure of what to expect. There was a roll of Portra 800 from the middle of summer, capturing the Assiniboia Downs. then there was some Kodak Ektar 100 from around The Forks and Jazz Fest. And finally, a roll of Fujifilm Superia 400 shot through a simple film point and shoot at Camp Cedarwood and Assiniboine Forest.
