Having last visited Vancouver when I was just eight years old, my only memory of the city sadly only consisted of the Vancouver Aquarium gift shop. As a result, it was nice to experience a few of Vancouver's finer points. The primary reason for the trip was to visit Jared and Katrina in Abbotsford, but I also had many friends to meet in the city - as well as needing a break from the prairies and all that they bring with them. Though still somewhat hazy from the fires, the coast did not disappoint.
I primarily used a Contax T2 day-to-day, however, a Pentax 67 and Polaroid SX-70 were also used at various points. Shooting with a film point and shoot is unique and rewarding experience - especially using black and white film.
Please enjoy the photographs, they were taken using a variety of film stocks, including:
Ilford Delta 100
Fujifilm Acros 100
Kodak Portra 160
Kodak Portra 400
Impossible Project Film (Polaroids - final four images)
